tube and shell
Coxons Group has designed and invested in a tube bundle cradle to assist with the removal of the tube bundle from large components.
- The cradle allows the tube bundle to be supported as it is slowly extracted from the shell
- Then our highly trained engineers are able to apply specialist heating equipment to the shell to facilitate easier removal, as is required for some components
- Coxons subcontract for specialist high pressure or chemical cleaning and regulated waste disposal as required
- We engage with independent contractors to inspect the tube thickness and measure each tube for corrosion levels and perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for the shell
- The equipment is reassembled with new parts and consumables to meet the scope requirement and pressure test accordingly
- All components are then painted and packaged for transportation including blanking off openings to prevent ingress of contaminants during transport.
plate heat exchangers
- Our technicians pull the equipment apart and undertake a full clean and service of each plate
- We engage with independent contractors to inspect the tube thickness and measure each tube for corrosion levels and perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for the shell
- The equipment is reassembled with new parts and tested
- It’s then painted to your scope, and packaged for transportation
