Today, we’re shining a light on someone who brings energy, heart and genuine care to the Coxons Group team… Kym Lock, our Mackay Service Coordinator.
If you’ve worked with our Mackay branch, chances are you’ve spoken with Kym – and it’s easy to understand why she’s become such a trusted point of contact for both our team and our customers.
As Service Coordinator, Kym plays a key role in keeping work flowing smoothly through the branch. From preparing quotes and invoices to keeping customers informed at every stage of the process, her attention to detail and commitment to communication make all the difference.
With a background spanning transport, warehousing and time spent working in the mines, Kym brings deep knowledge of the industry and a natural ability to connect with people. She describes Coxons Group as the place she’s found her stride, sharing:
“This is the longest I’ve been in one role for a very long time. It’s because I like being here every day, and I like the job and the people that I work with.”
Outside of work, you’ll find Kym singing (sometimes from rooftops!), or reminiscing on her roller derby days, where she rolled under the name Bricks as she was famously hard to knock down.
Recently awarded a Values Award for Integrity, Kym reflects exactly what we stand for – honesty, accountability and care in every interaction. We’re proud to have her on the team, and even more excited to see what she achieves next.
