We’re delighted to introduce Ben Lorenz for this month’s Employee Spotlight. Ben is our Acting Workshop Supervisor who loves the culture at Coxons and has been empowered to pursue a fulfilling career with us.
Beginning his career at Coxons as a Service Coordinator, Ben was promoted to Workshop Planner, then to Acting Workshop Supervisor. Ben experienced our company values first-hand when he was in the newly created Service Coordinator role, and given the freedom to build the foundation of that position. Working hand in hand with the Workshop Planner each day, he became familiar with that role and learned the ins and outs of the Planner’s job purpose and responsibilities. Ben created a clear path to move into the position when the opportunity arose.
When the Acting Workshop Supervisor role became available, Ben was supported to continue moving up the ranks and take ownership of his new position.
Reflecting on his progression within Coxons, Ben said, “the management team have been supportive of my growth within the business, they’ve supported me to upskill to where I needed to be.”
Ben’s best advice for anyone considering a career at Coxons? Have a ‘have a go’ attitude – and you will be supported to grow within the business!
