At Coxons Group Australia, we’re experts in the maintenance, repair and rebuild of radiators and heat exchangers for mobile mining equipment. We’re now seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop team and drive operational excellence, safety and quality standards.
About the Role
As the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. You’ll manage Leading Hands and workshop personnel, oversee scheduling and workflow, and play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering Zero Harm targets.
- Ensuring quality standards are met.
- Achieving Delivery in Full on Time targets.
- Driving cultural leadership and adherence to the company values.
- Optimising employee utilisation and workshop capacity.
- Supervising and managing the Leading Hands and workshop team.
- Delivering effective communication, guidance and technical support to the branch.
About You
You are a positive contributor and team player that possesses natural leadership qualities. You are mechanically astute, detail oriented, motivated and organised.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A mechanical trade qualification.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- A strong commitment to health & safety and quality assurance.
- Experience using Cat SIS.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
